Savoy Ballroom and Harvest Moon Ball Legends Sugar Sullivan and Barbara Billups give us a rare treat to learn the famous "Stops" routines that they saw perfected at the famed Harlem ballroom in the 1950's.

In Celebration of the Mama Lu Parks 60th Anniversary of her Lindy Hop Preservation Journey: Come and Dine and Dance with us in the heart of Harlem with live music and Legends of Harlem's Lindy Hop!  We'll be with the band Eugene Gee's Harlem Heritage 5 Band , enjoying soul food and dance with some DJ'd classics also

80 years ago Count Basie and his Orchestra appeared on a CBS Radio show promoting Columbia Records.  THIS Special Sunday our Harvest Moon Ball Champs and Savoy Ballroom Dance Legends will reminisce about the Savoy Ballroom, Jazz and its importance and relevance even today on City College Radio
